Located a few steps away from the Nave, the Saint Stephen’s Library is a quiet, contemplative space that is inviting and accessible to everyone. The focus of the Library is to help parishioners reflect upon the question, “How do we live faithfully?”

In 2024, the Saint Stephen’s Library received a complete transformation. Thanks to parishioners, Marie Blair, Babs Knowles, and Sky Smith, the library is now a prime resource for learning, discovery, and inspiration. The updated library collection contains gems of spiritual insight by well-known religious authors like Richard Rohr, Kate Bowler, and N.T. Wright interspersed with works by local authors - including Saint Stephens’s clergy and parishioners such as the Rev. Doug Carpenter, the Rev. Mary Bea Sullivan, Lois Chaplin, the Rev. Ron Delbene, and Charlotte Donlon. In collaboration with our Minister for Children and Families, Jennifer Jones, the team was also able to expand our children’s section.
