Funeral Planning

At Saint Stephen’s, we believe that in life and in death we belong to God. When someone we love dies, the Church gathers to give thanks for their life, to commend them to God’s eternal care, and to support one another in hope.

Our clergy walk with families through every step of planning a funeral or memorial service, shaping a liturgy that reflects the faith and life of the person who has died.

Saint Stephen’s is also home to a beautiful Memorial Garden and Columbarium, a sacred space for prayer and remembrance. Families of Saint Stephen’s parishioners may choose this peaceful setting for the interment of ashes and for ongoing visits of reflection and gratitude.
