St. Stephen’s Outreach

….We are God’s Hands….We are God’s Feet

Return to St. Stephen's home page

Outreach at St. Stephen’s comprises a significant part of our budget, both financially and volunteer-wise.

We help people who are in special need…the poor, the homeless, the sick, the prisoners, etc.  We respond in a loving and helpful way to people in need coming directly to us for help.  We also support agencies and ministries already in place to help specific needs.  Of the twenty-three percent of our parish’s operating income allocated for outreach, fifteen and one fourth per cent go to ministries within the church and the world through the Diocese of Alabama.  A minimum of seven and three/fourths percent goes for direct assistance to people in need and to support proportionally the following ministries and projects.

Our Outreach Committee meets regularly. For more information, please contact Fiona Watts at 991-2884.
